I was recently informed about this lovely artist through my girlfriend. I’ve followed Camilla’s friend and fellow artist (and fellow Swede!) Sandra Juto for some time now. Camilla’s use of simple, colorful shapes and textures bring about a peace of mind at first glance. yet upon gazing these creations a little more closely you begin to see the context and most unusual circumstances some of her characters get drawn into. I’m especially digging her works on paper. Dig in.
